Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2020 Toyota Camry is available in six different trim levels: L, LE, SE, XSE, XLE, and TRD. The base trim, the Camry L, comes with LED headlights and 16-inch steel wheels. The LE adds alloy wheels, and the SE has a sporty exterior trim. The premium TRD trim level adds 19-inch black-painted wheels and an aerodynamic body kit.
Engine (Power)
Most of the Camry's trim levels come standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 203 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. For the XLE and XSE trim levels, buyers have the option of choosing a 3.5-liter V-6 engine with 301 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. Every trim level comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is available, but only with the LE and higher trim levels and only on models that have the four-cylinder engine.
Performance
The 2020 Camry delivers a controlled ride and responsive handling with steering that feels substantial when you're rounding tight corners and light when you're maneuvering into tight parking spaces. The brakes are also responsive. The sporty SE trim level offers a sport-tuned suspension and revised steering calibration, and the premium TRD trim has upgraded brakes, extra chassis bracing, and a TRD-tuned suspension. It also has driver-selectable driving modes and performance tires as an available, no-cost option.
Interior
The 2020 Toyota Camry is spacious and comfortable, and the XLE trim is particularly luxurious. This large sedan has an abundance of cargo room and lots of interior storage in the trunk, as well as in the cabin with the rear seat folded down. The L trim comes standard with a 7-inch touch screen, a Wi-Fi hotspot, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a USB port, and a six-speaker audio system. With the LE trim, buyers get a power-adjustable driver's seat, two charge-only USB ports, and a 60/40 split-folding back seat. The sportier SE trim level has automatic climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters, and simulated-leather upholstery seats. Buyers who add the Convenience package get an auto-dimming rear view mirror. Those who add the Audio upgrade package get the Convenience package in addition to an 8-inch touch screen, a wireless charging pad, dual-zone automatic climate control, and an available sunroof.
The XLE and XSE trim levels come standard with leather upholstery, heated front seats, and the Audio upgrade package. Buyers can also choose to add the nine-speaker JBL premium audio system. There is also an available Cold Weather package, which includes heated seats, steering wheel, and mirrors.
Safety Features
Every trim level comes standard with Toyota Safety Sense P, the manufacturer's suite of safety technology. Standard safety features in Safety Sense P are the pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, full-speed dynamic radar cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, and automatic high beams. Buyers can also choose to add the blind spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert.
